Mission Recycling employee, Paul
Kachirsky, is Santa once again in the 2008 Annual
Pomona Toy Drive and Give-Away. The annual event is supported
by Mission Recycling, other local businesses,
Firefighters, Police and many community voluteers. Pomona's
Mayor Elliot Rothman and City Councilmembers also participate
and lend their support.
The Toy Drive has been the signature event for many years of former
Councilmember and Mayor Norma Torres. Councilmember Freddie Rodriguez,
supported by new Mayor Elliot Rothman, Councilmembers
Atchley, Carrizosa, Lantz and countless others, have committed
to continuing this worthy annual tradition.
